DAVIS and Select Car Leasing in strategic fleet management partnership
Licence Check and Select Car Leasing have unveiled a new strategic fleet management partnership to make the full range of services offered via Licence Check’s award-winning, risk management and analytical fleet management platform, DAVIS, available to all Select customers.
Under the terms of the new white label agreement, Reading-headquartered Select, the UK’s largest automotive and most trusted leasing broker which now has a live fleet of over 100,000 vehicles on UK roads, will offer fleet management services to all customers via the DAVIS platform which includes DAVIS Fleet and the DAVIS Driver App.
Sarah Worthington, Head of Corporate at Select, which leased a market-leading 34,195 new vehicles in 2025, said that the two businesses made a natural fit.
“I did a deep dive into the fleet management offerings available in the market and DAVIS really aligned with our requirements and ticked all our boxes. The business has a very similar approach to ours, being very customer-centric with a clear identity and similar ambitions.
“As a self-serve solution, DAVIS is as appropriate for a full-time fleet manager as it is for a manager for whom fleet is only a part of their job. And it allows both company and grey fleet vehicles to be managed efficiently and effectively from one platform with minimal admin.
“The DAVIS Driver App was also a very important aspect in the decision as it gives drivers access to a whole range of services, including condition and mileage reporting along with key contact numbers – which is important where multiple funders might be involved,” she said.
The DAVIS Fleet solution is fully integrated within DAVIS (Driver and Vehicle Information Solutions), Licence Check’s market-leading risk management platform which now carries out 1.7 million licence checks a year.
It is designed to provide users with actionable and insightful management information, greater visibility, reduced admin, enhanced compliance and heightened control over their vehicles.
Fleet management services available include fully automated, real-time licence checking through DAVIS, all aspects of grey fleet and corporate fleet management, extensive and dashboard-specific fleet reporting and a raft of services for company drivers through the DAVIS Driver app.
Driver services available through the app include, amongst others, mileage capture, vehicle inspection reporting, and condition and defect reporting, while a set of mini dashboards provides drivers with an at-a-glance view of the features to which they have access.
The DAVIS Driver App integrates seamlessly with DAVIS Fleet so that fleet managers and other users can see dashboard views of all exceptions, such as under and over mileages, vehicles nearing mileage limits, vehicles without mileage recorded and any defects, allowing vehicle management with greater control and efficiency.
