Ebbon Fest: Celebrating 25 Years

On 15th May 2025, we marked a major milestone in the Ebbon Group story – our 25th anniversary – with Ebbon Fest, a day dedicated to celebrating our people, our progress, and our purpose.

Held at the beautiful Sheepy Meadows at Mythe Farm in Warwickshire, the location was chosen for its accessibility – especially for our teams travelling from our Derby, Oxford, Glasgow and European offices – and for its values, which closely align with our own commitment to sustainability.

Celebrating our culture

From the moment guests arrived (and despite a lack of sunshine) the Ebbon energy was unmistakable. In true Ebbon style, the day was full of variety – bringing together laughter, connection, and a little healthy competition. Axe throwing, laser shooting, duck herding and classic garden games offered something for everyone, encouraging cross-team collaboration and strengthening the bonds that fuel our shared success.

Supporting wellbeing with purpose

As the event coincided with Mental Health Awareness Week, it was important for us to honour that. We were delighted to welcome Charlene Gisele, who led a powerful and practical session on stress management and burnout prevention. Her workshop gave our team valuable tools – including breathing techniques – that can be used both in the office and while working from home. It was a timely reminder of our continued focus on mental wellbeing and creating a workplace where people can truly thrive.

A feast for the team

With so much activity, appetites were high – and we didn’t disappoint. Guests were treated to a vibrant spread of BBQ classics, Mexican street food, indulgent canapés, and a nostalgic ice cream van for a sweet treat.

As the sun began to set, live music from Closer to the Coast brought authentic festival vibes to life. With colleagues dancing and singing along, it was the perfect ending to a day filled with joy, laughter, and shared memories.

Sustainable by design

Sustainability wasn’t simply a tick box – it was a guiding principle. Sheepy Meadows is surrounded by 12,000 trees, wildflower meadows, and powered by 88% renewable energy, earning the venue GOLD EcoSmart certification. We also laid on electric coaches for hotel transfers and gave all guests a reusable festival-style cup to take away – a practical, eco-friendly reminder of the day.

Looking back, moving forward

Ebbon Fest was more than just a party – it was a powerful reflection of who we are. A celebration of the people who make Ebbon what it is, and a moment to look ahead to where we’re going next. From a single vision 25 years ago to a thriving, people-first technology company today – our success has always been built on collaboration, innovation, and a strong sense of purpose.
