Ebbon Group Get Together

In April 2024, the Ebbon Group team came together for a day to remember at the prestigious St George’s Park, the home of English football and the perfect setting for a truly inspirational event. Our ‘Get Together’ aimed to bring colleagues from our three offices in Oxford, Glasgow, and Derby closer, celebrating the collaborative spirit that drives our success.

A Warm Welcome
The day kicked off with a buzz of excitement as team members arrived from all corners of the country. St George’s Park, with its world-class facilities and uplifting atmosphere, set the tone for what was to come—a day filled with inspiration, learning, and camaraderie.

Informative and Inspiring Presentations
The morning began with presentations highlighting our achievements, upcoming projects, and progress toward an efficient, safer and sustainable future. It was a chance to reflect on the incredible strides we’ve made together and discuss the bright future ahead for the three centres of excellence, Ebbon Automotive, Ebbon Compliance and Ebbon Intelligence.

A Remarkable Guest Speaker: Liz Jackson MBE
The highlight of the day was an unforgettable session with Liz Jackson MBE, a motivational speaker whose journey left us inspired and in awe. Losing her sight 20 years ago, Liz has since transformed challenges into triumphs, becoming a leading advocate for resilience and determination. Her message resonated deeply, reminding us all of the power of perspective and perseverance.

Team-Building Activities
To foster collaboration and encourage some friendly competition, the afternoon featured a choice of team-building activities designed to challenge and entertain. We were conscious not to ‘force the fun’ so instead offered colleagues a choice of archery, low ropes, a group walk or run around the grounds, or free time to enjoy the facilities.
